Firearms Safety Rules
- Always Keep Your Firearm Pointed In A Safe Direction
- Always Keep Your Finger Off Trigger Until Ready To Shoot
- Always Keep Your Firearm Unloaded Until Ready To Use
- Always Know Your Target And What Is Beyond It
Range Rules
- Eye And Ear Protection Are Required At All Times While Inside Of The Range.
- All Range Safety Officer (RSO) Commands Are Final And Non-Negotiable. Violators Will Be Escorted From The Range.
- Anyone Believed To Be Under The Influence Of Alcohol, Or A Controlled Substance Will Not Be Allowed Into The Range.
- Maximum Of 2 Shooters Per Lane.
- Maximum Of 1 Shooter Firing At A Time In The Stall.
- All Firearms Must Remain In A Holster Or Range Bag Until On The Firing Line.
- Shooters May Only Load Their Firearms While Standing In Their Assigned Firing Lane Between The Ballistic Dividers.
- No Firearms Shall Be Handled Behind The Fireline Line Ballistic Dividers.
- At No Time Are Shooters Allowed Beyond The Firing Line.
- Fully Automatic Fire Is Prohibited Unless Prior Permission Is Given.
- No Children Under 10 Years Old Are Permitted In The Shooting Range.
- Anyone Under The Age Of 18 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult.
- All Federal/State/Local Laws Apply To Possessing And Handing Firearms.
- Anyone Who Is Found To Be Intentionally Shooting The Range Equipment Or Anything Other Than Their Designated Target Will Be Held Responsible For Damages.
- All Handgun/Shotgun/ Rifle Calibers Accepted Up To .338 Lapua And Below
- No Steel Core, Incendiary, Armor Piercing Or Illegal Ammunition Is Allowed On The Range At Any Time. Prohibited Ammunition Found To Be Shot On The Range Will Result In A $250 Fine.
- Pregnant Women Are Strictly Prohibited From Entering The Shooting Range At Any Time.
- No Food, Drinks, Vape Pens Or Tobacco Products Are Allowed In The Range At Any Time.
- No Private Instruction Is Allowed In The Range Without Authorized Consent From Defenders Armory Management.
- In Event Of A “Cease-Fire” By The RSO Or Any Other Shooter. All Live Fire Shall Immediately Stop Until The Rso Or Other Personnel Deem It Safe To Resume Live Fire.
- Defenders Armory Reserves The Right To Refuse Service To Anyone At Any Time For Any Reason.
- In The Event Of An Emergency The RSO Will Assume Total Command Of The Situation Until Proper Authority’s Arrive On Scene.
Rental Firearms Rules
- A Valid Drivers License/ State Identification/ Passport Is Required To Rent A Firearm. This Document Will Be Held At The Range Check In Until The Rental Firearm Is Returned. (Members Included)
- Non-Members And 1st Time Shooters Will Not Be Allowed To Rent Any Firearms Or NFA Items Without Being Accompanied By Another Person.
- Shooters Under 21 Years Old Cannot Rent A Firearm Or NFA Item.
- When Returning Rental Firearms, Shooters Must First Show The RSO A Clear And Safe Weapon. The Weapon Shall Be Returned With The Slide Locked To The Rear And/Or Chamber Flag In Place. The Weapon Shall Be Returned To The Firearm Rental Desk In The Tote Or Case Provided.
- Damage/ Repair To Rental Weapons Due To Gross Negligence Or Improper Handing Will Be Paid For By The Customer.
- Removing Any Rental Weapon From The Property Will Be Considered Theft And The Authorities Immediately Notified. Defenders Armory Will Prosecute To The Fullest.
- All Federal/State/Local Laws Apply To Possessing And Handing Rental Firearms. The Authorities Will Be Immediately Contacted If Persons Not To Possess Or Own A Firearm Is Found Attempting To Rent A Defenders Armory Firearm.
